The sixth Australia India Youth Dialogue (#AIYD17) will take place on February 15-18 in Sydney and Melbourne, Australia.

AIYD 2017 will have a dedicated focus on Innovation, particularly as it relates to challenges faced by Australia and India, and the potential for collaboration between the two in specific areas.

Under this broad theme, AIYD 2017 will facilitate discussions between delegates led by high-level speakers from different fields, on three specific sub-themes: Health (Day 1, Melbourne), Entrepreneurship (Day 2, Sydney) and Skills (Day 3, Sydney).

Discussions will take place alongside collaborative group work throughout the Dialogue. We hope that these simultaneous processes of knowledge exchange and development will support the delegates in identifying specific areas for collaborations between Australia and India.

Two-way trade between our countries is already worth more than $15 billion a year, and the conclusion of a Comprehensive Economic Cooperation Agreement will further encourage trade and investment.

The AIYD received an overwhelming volume of high-quality applicants for 2017. We are pleased to share the final list AIYD 2017 delegates with you.

The AIYD continues to have the generous support of a number of long-standing partners, and is excited to welcome new sponsors for 2017.
